Bear River Refuge Conducts Prescribed Burn

– Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge will
conduct a Prescribed Burn on Unit 2D at the center of Auto Tour Route, Monday
and Tuesday, October 1-2. The Auto Tour Route will be closed for visitor
safety, including the wildlife viewing tower and public restrooms. Refuge Manager, Suzanne Baird, states that “Immediately
following the prescribed burn on Unit 2D, refilling will begin. Refilling will
continue in the northern 3 Units (Duckville area) including 3A, 3B, 3K, 3J, 3I,
and 3K.” |
