On April 13 at approximately 10:45 p.m., the Woodburn Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery of a Woodburn taxi company. Two victims of the taxi company reported that two males robbed them at gunpoint after getting a ride to the 3000 block of Linda Street in Woodburn. The suspects fled the taxi with an undisclosed amount of cash. Woodburn officers and detectives followed up on the case and on April 19 were able to make arrests involving two male juveniles (both 15 years of age).

| Officers recovered a loaded Glock .380 caliber handgun during the investigation. Both suspects were taken to the Marion County Juvenile Detention Center on the following charges: Robbery I, Unlawful Use of a Weapons, Menacing and Coercion.

| Officers also learned through this investigation that one of the arrested juveniles was involved in at least one additional armed robbery and a burglary of a residence.
