| Summary : | On 7/4/18, at approximately 0915 hours, Auburn Officers responded to a reported vehicle bicycle collision in the 400 block of 4th Street Southeast. A Waste Management truck was making a left turn into the alleyway that runs between D and F streets southeast. A bicycle being ridden by a male in his 50's. As the truck was making its turn, the bicyclist struck the side of the truck, suffering severe injuries.
The bicyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the truck remained on scene and was co-operative with Officers. At this time there is no indication of impairment or recklessness on the part of the driver.
