On June 3, 2016 Officers from the Sherwood Police Department met with 27 year old Markell Deon Hilaire of Tacoma, Washington.
Hilaire turned himself in on a secret indictment warrant. Hilaire was arrested without incident.
Hilaire was booked into the Washington County Jail on the felony warrant which alleged 3 charges; Criminal Mistreatment 1st Degree, Assault 3rd Degree, and Assault in the 4th Degree. His bail was set at $10, 000.00.
This involves a case which received national attention recently. This is still an active and open case. No further information is being released at this time.
